To write good Web content, you need to learn some new rules (that probably contradict what you've been taught about writing in the past). The new rules are easily summarized:
- Simple is good. No more padding, complex sentence structures, fancy vocabulary.
- Be brief and clear.
- Get rid of pompous, stuffy language.
- Eliminate unnecessary verbiage.
