Clinic Information

OLV volunteers staff the clinic. Some of the volunteers are nurses. A registered nurse is the coordinator of the volunteers and meets periodically to train the volunteers and keep them updated on the clinic procedures. The purpose of the school clinic is to provide first aid for minor injuries and illnesses, administer medication and to notify parents if symptoms persist or appear serious. The school furnishes an emergency authorization form that directs the schools course of action in each individual case. It is essential that the parent notify the school of changes of phone number, address or employment throughout the school year so that the information is kept updated.
