After School Clubs
The first obligation to students is to provide quality programs in
spiritual life and the academics. Extra Curricular Activities
enhance the students’ development in service, the arts, physical
education, social skills, and leadership. Activities and clubs change from
year to year depending on the interest of the students and the expertise
of the faculty.
Our Lady of Victory is pleased to offer the following
clubs for
students in grades 6-8 after school during the 2008/09 School Year:
Drama
|
Students study theatrical techniques to enhance their acting
skills as they work toward
their third annual spring musical stage performance.
|
Yearbook/Newspaper
|
Students work on designing the yearbook, setting the pages and
meeting
deadlines for submission of the yearbook. In addition, they will publish
the Patriot Pride (student newspaper) quarterly. They will be very busy as
they handle two of our most prominent publications.

Science Olympiad
|
Students prepare throughout the first half of the school year for
a regional competition in January in eight areas of scientific study.
This is a very hands-on club as the students must create the items
for the competition based on very specific criteria.

Student Council
|
Student Council meets at this time, though it is not considered
an official club.
