Introduction:

You need to create a tri-fold travel brochure in Publisher of a cell analogy. You are to compare the make-up of the cell to a place you can visit. You are to persuade others to visit this place. This brochure should describe this analogy and should be interesting to look at and creative in its overall design.

Create a brochure using Publisher (choose a design from the available templates) describing the analogy that you were assigned in Science.

Although you will be given ample class time to complete this project in class, you may need to do some research at home. It is your responsibility to bring all printouts from home to class.

Since Publisher files get large, we will be saving them to the server. As a result, you can work on them from any computer in the school.

The following items should be considered when creating your brochure:

The front cover should include all elements of the normal header as well as the name of your cell. It should also have an overall graphic of the place you are convincing others to visit.
The back cover should have a map/labeled cell diagram and directions to your cell.
A tour of 8 cell organelles should be included as indicated in the science rubric.
The design of your brochure should look interesting and eye-catching, but should have an overall flow - use different color, fonts and pictures.
The sources cited should be included as a word document that is attached to the publisher document.
