Extensions for Culture Fair

Group Activity

50 Points

Each student will be placed in a group to work on one of the following extensions for preparing the room for the Culture Fair.

              Group 1 – Flag or Flags of the Country / Island. Group will be responsible for preparing a series of flags for their classroom representing their particular Country or Island. It should include a brief history of the flags used in that country.

Group 2  - Door Decoration. It should reflect something famous or cultural about the Country or Island involved.

Group 3 – Plan a series of menus of the typical cuisine of the Country or Island involved. These will be prepared on poster board and should have pictures of the foods that are unique to that country or island.

Group 4 – Create a board game about your country or Island with easy to read instructions.

Group 5 – Create a coloring activity for the younger grades that represent your country or Island.
