• Chinese Dynasties and their accomplishments
• Japan and the Shoguns and the Samurai
• The Muslim Empire
• The Great Wall of China
• Hiroshima, Japan and the Atomic Bomb, Japan’s role in WWII
• Angkor Wat, Cambodia
• The Vietnam War
• The Mysteries of Easter Island

These topics must meet the following criteria:

• At least a four page report, typed, double spaced and using a size 12 font, Times New Roman.

• Your project should cover the following areas:
• Why is it important?
• Who was involved with the event or place?
• What was the impact of the event on society and history?
• When did it occur and what were the time elements involved with the event or place?
• You must cite at least 3 sources.

• You must create a poster or a power-point presentation:
• The power point should have a minimum of 15 slides.
• Both should have a minimum of 6 pictures or graphics relating to your topic.
• Pictures must have an accurate description of what they represent in relation to your topic.
• Both should be colorful, neat, and well organized.
• Both should have a detailed map that relates to your topic.

4.   You must give an oral presentation of 2 to 3 minutes.
